Plus an illustrated story, Pɛɛthi woŋ thɔŋ mayimbire maŋ, told entirely in Limba, published by the Society for Indigenous Languages, Communities and Cultures of Sierra Leone, in partnership with Wɛndama Development Organization.
SILCC's ongoing work with local communities includes discussing the importance of traditional forest and practices with community members in Konta Village, and reaching community agreements, like the one with Masoko village, before funds are given.
Forest preservation and beekeeping projects are interweaved for community livelihood, and SILCC is constructing an office building in one village to enable access to our services for the indigenous community in Kambia District.
